Thanks to everyone making the "Transform it with eBay" Video Contest such a huge success! We knew that you all are an extremely creative and interesting bunch, so we were thrilled to see the great variety of entries submitted by the eBay Community from all around the US and Canada! This program was a first step for eBay into the video world, and whether you submitted a video or voted on one, we were delighted to see such enthusiasm around this type of program and look forward to doing more in the future.

After viewing over 150 terrific video submissions, the panel of eBay judges and YOUR votes have selected the winning video.

Thanks to eBay, Porky the 5 year old with a passion-for-everything-trains transformed his tricycle into something special.

Porky is an excellent train spotting companion for me, his Dad. He has unnatural patience for a 5 year old. We often sit by the tracks near our home for long periods of time waiting for a train... sometimes hours. As the youngest of 5 kids Porky is very close to his 8 year old brother "Bones" but who unfortunately does not share the same affinity for trains (so I guess he is stuck with Dad for now.) He also has brothers who are 14 and 16 and a sister that is 11 (who does a killer voiceover in case you hadn't noticed). They all treat Porky as the household pet. Sometimes I wish Porky would stay 5 and ride a three wheeler forever... it will be the end of an era at our house when he graduates to 2 wheels in the next year or so. It will also be sad for me when he outgrows the nickname "Porky". I just hope he never outgrows his love for trains.


The Transform it with eBay Video Contest begins at 12:00:01 AM Pacific Time (PT) on June 4, 2007 and ends 11:59:59 PM PT on July 1, 2007 (the "Contest Period"). Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who are: physically located and reside in the United States, District of Columbia, or Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec); 18 years of age or older for U.S. residents and the age of majority in their province or territory of residence for Canadian residents; and confirmed registered members of www.ebay.com or www.ebay.ca (collectively, the "eBay Site") at time of entry.
